The Spruce Grove Aerials (SGA) Rec Troupe is comprised of intermediate to advanced recreational athletes who perform group routines at various events throughout the year, including a performance at GymFest.  Rec Troupe provides an opportunity for our recreational athletes to combine gymnastics, choreography and stunting, and to showcase their love of gymnastics and performing.  Athletes train for 3 hours/ one day per week with an optional 1.5 additional hours.  Rec Troupe tryouts are in September, and the program runs for 9 months (October until June).

Time: 12:00 - 2:00

Classes: 3 hours, one day per week. Starting October 4, 2025 and running on Saturdays from 11:30 AM – 2:45 PM from October until June.  Optional 1.5 hours on Mondays from 6:15-7:45 PM from October to June

Ages: Age 8 by Sept 15

Prerequisite: Bronze passed or Beginner Tumbling.  

Cost for tryouts is $10/athlete, with 30 spots available for tryouts, on a first come basis.  Tryouts will be held on Sunday, September 27 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, with a meeting for parents at 12:00pm for all athletes attending tryouts.

Please have your athlete bring a water bottle, remove all jewelry, and tie hair back if longer than shoulder length.  Athletes should wear shorts/t-shirts or a gym suit.
